Carnival 2026 - From February 12 to February 16
All of us are looking forward to this time of the year... Carnival!
To give you an idea of the Roses Carnival importance, when one edition ends, another has already begun: the groups are already planning how they will surprise and amuse everyone with their costumes, floats and choreographies.
At the three parades (Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning), you can see the final result of so many months of effort, dedication and passion put in by more than fifty groups that take part of it every year.
On Monday we have a meal all together, the popular arrossada (rice meal). In the evening we celebrate the King Carnival’s funeral and we say goodbye to the event with some fireworks.
Get your costume ready and come to Roses to enjoy the best party of the year!

Funeral procession of the late Carnival King, the Sardine’s burial (traditional farewell to Carnival’s joy) and pyrotechnic show and music.
*Tickets (rice meal): advance sale at rosescultura.cat from the 3rd to the 10th february, or in person the 5th and 6th february, at the Roses Municpal Theater, from 12pm to 2pm.
There will be a rice option for vegans.
** Carnival merchandising: Carnival T-shirts, pins, tote bags and aprons on sale at the Tourist Office.
