Roses' Suquet de Peix
Traditionally, the fishermen of Roses cooked "Suquet de peix" (fish stew). A dish as simple as boiling freshly caught fish with potatoes has undergone a significant evolution and, over time, this recipe has been enriched with the addition of typical Mediterranean products.
The restaurants in Roses offer different ways of cooking this dish, always accompanied by the excellent DO Empordà wines.
At the end of October we celebrate the Suquet de Peix de Roses gastronomic days during which several restaurants propose special menus with Suquet de Peix. An excellent occasion to come to Roses!
