Roses is a town of Mediterranean essence and a marked tourist and seafaring tradition. Roses is located in the north of the Costa Brava, in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, in a unique natural environment, between the Cap de Creus Natural Park and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park. Its origins go back to the 4th century BC, with the foundation of the Greek colony of Rhode. Since then, Roses has been a meeting point for civilizations that have left their mark in important archaeological sites and shaped the identity of a modern and culturally active city. Roses has an important infrastructure in accommodation, renowned restaurants, shops and leisure and sports activities focused on enjoying the waters of the bay.
The Palau de Congressos de Roses is a spectacular building, which deserved the 2003 FAD award, equipped with several multipurpose spaces for holding congresses, conventions and work meetings.
It is located in the center of the town of Roses and occupies a large open space formed by a square of 1,300 m2 and a car park with a capacity for 100 vehicles.
